CASE STUDY

WYA Common Sense — international energy

“Common Sense” was an international programme organised by World Youth Alliance Poland, bringing together young participants from several European countries in Kraków. Filming took place in winter, but the entire reportage was shot indoors, deliberately avoiding elements that would clearly reveal the season.

An international programme

Young people from Croatia, Spain, Belgium and Poland took part in the exchange. The project focused on mental health, resilience, wellbeing and the search for meaning.

The programme included presentations, discussions and workshops, allowing the reportage to show not only the subject of the project, but above all the interactions, relationships and energy of the international group.

100% filmed indoors

Without outdoor locations, visual variety had to be created through the participants, changing situations, movement, gestures and different shot sizes.

The interiors remained a neutral background, while the character of the film was shaped by the colourful young participants, their natural reactions and their work together during the workshops.
