Lower Silesia — travelling as a way to discover the region
“Lower Silesia - you have to see it!” is a film produced for the Educational Gardens Foundation, which has been developing the idea of Intergenerational Journeys since 2019. The production forms part of a campaign promoting travel around Lower Silesia and encouraging people to discover its places, history and local experiences.
Discovering the region through travel
The starting point of the film is not a conventional catalogue of tourist attractions, but the very idea of setting out on a journey and discovering Lower Silesia through places, people and experiences connected with the region.
This approach to storytelling combines a promotional function with regional education and the character of the Foundation's activities.
A film as part of a broader idea
For years, Educational Gardens has organised Intergenerational Journeys, whose aim is to discover Lower Silesia together with people of different ages and different life experiences.
The film was therefore intended not only to show the appeal of the region, but also to encourage viewers to discover it for themselves — through travel, direct contact with places and encounters with other people.
